| A guest’s visit to the
Club shall be defined as any appearance by a non-member on Club grounds
for any purpose. Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times and
are not permitted to sign vouchers.
Below you will find information regarding
Fenway's dress codes, cell phone and children's policies. Should

DRESS CODES
Members are responsible for informing their guests of the dress code
and rules for the golf, clubhouse and premises.
DINING ROOM AND BAR
Members and guests not wearing appropriate shirts will be required to change
to proper attire or purchase a shirt from the Pro Shop or front office.
Luncheon.
Neat and clean dress is requested, including golf and tennis attire. No short
shorts. No swim attire, even with cover-up.
Male members over age 12 must wear collared shirts, except for Golf Pro Shop
approved banded collar golf shirts.
All shirts must be tucked in.
Men are not permitted to wear hats.
No blue jeans from Memorial Day to Labor Day, except for Sunday Family BBQ’s.
Men are not permitted to wear sandals in the bar and dining room.
Children under 12 are permitted to wear untucked shirts, t-shirts and cargo
shorts.
Dinner (and after 6:00 PM in Bar and Dining Areas).
A Jacket and Tie.
B Jacket, no Tie.
Men are permitted to wear collared and banded collar shirts, turtleneck and mock
turtleneck shirts and unembellished designer type dress T-shirts.
No golf shirts permitted.
C Casual.
Men are permitted to wear straight bottom tailored shirts, collared and banded
collar shirts, turtleneck and mock turtleneck shirts.
No golf shirts or T-shirts permitted.
However, on outdoor events indicated on the calendar by an asterisk, men are
also permitted to wear unembellished designer type T-shirts.
D Casual Family Dinners.
Men are permitted to wear golf shirts, unadorned T-shirts, jeans, walking and
cargo shorts.
Children under age 12 are permitted to wear screen printed T-shirts and untucked
shirts.
F Formal - Black Tie.
PREMISES
Swim attire even with cover-up is not permitted entering or leaving premises for
adults or children.
No blue jeans in season, except for Family BBQ’s.
Cargo shorts (patch pockets), mesh shorts and clam diggers are only permitted at
the pool and outdoor patio.
Short shorts are not permitted.
In the locker rooms, bathrobes or adequate covering must be worn going to and
from the showers or other service rooms.
GOLFING ATTIRE
Members and their guests are required to wear proper golfing attire.
Members are responsible for acquainting their guests, including children, with
these dress rules.
The Club’s desire is to respect the traditions of the game while still being
sensitive to the latest fashions and trends.
Should a member or guest wear attire deemed inappropriate, the Caddie Manager is
empowered to refuse that member or guest the privilege to play.
Children must observe the same dress code.
The Golf Professional Staff are prohibited from giving lessons to anyone who is
not dressed in proper golf attire.
All rules pertaining to dress on the golf course will also apply to the driving
range, chipping and putting greens.
Shirts.
All men and junior male members must wear shirts with collars or banded
collar golf shirts with shirt tails tucked in, except for straight bottom
tailored shirts.
Women are permitted to wear T-shirts that conform to appropriate golf attire.
Tank tops are not permitted for wear by any person, nor are football or other
sport jerseys.
Shorts.
Walking shorts of appropriate length are permitted on the golf course.
Cutoffs, swim wear, tennis shorts, short shorts, gym shorts, basketball shorts,
mesh shorts and similar athletic attire are prohibited.
Cargo shorts are only permitted for children under 12.
Jeans.
Jeans, including designer jeans, are not permitted on the golf course.
Golf Shoes.
Only Softspike golf shoes are allowed on the golf course.
The locker attendant has an ample supply and will change shoes to Softspike upon
your request.
Guests may have Softspikes installed on their shoes by the Locker Room Attendant
who will change them back upon request after their round.
Approved golf shoes must be worn on the practice putting green.
Hats.
While almost all types of headwear are deemed acceptable, members wearing
baseball caps turned backwards, rally caps or hats bearing logos or printing of
an offensive or profane nature are prohibited.
Hats are not permitted to be worn by men in dining areas of the Clubhouse.
TENNIS ATTIRE
The Tennis Professional will advise on tennis attire.
Appropriate tennis shoes must be worn at all times.
No jeans, bathing suits, golf attire or shirts inscribed across front or back
(advertising type) permitted.
It will be considered proper tennis attire for children age 9 and under to wear
T-shirts.
The Tennis Professionalwill enforce the above rules.
CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES (including
hand-held computers)
Clubhouse
Silent communication devices (Blackberries and cell phones) are only
permitted in the locker room facilities with the following restrictions:
incoming - must be on vibration; outgoing - text messaging only.
Verbal communication is not permitted in the clubhouse pool area, front entry
and front steps except for the parking lots.
Golf Course
From Tuesday through Friday for those who tee off before 1:00 P.M.,
silent communication devices (Blackberries and cell phones) are only permitted
on the golf course with the following restrictions: incoming - must be on
vibration; outgoing - text messaging only.
On Friday for those who tee off after 1:00 P.M., and all day on Saturdays,
Sundays and Holidays, no electronic devices of any kind are permitted on the
golf course.
Doctors may use silent communication devices ONLY for medical emergencies at all
times.
No cell phones or any type of electronic communications are permitted in the
golf course snack bar or on the driving range, chipping and/or putting greens.
CHILDREN POLICIES
General
Rules apply to children year round.
Any child is a guest unless he or she is the child of a member and has paid the
appropriate membership dues.
Nurses and governesses are not permitted on the Club grounds.
Carriages and strollers are not permitted on the Club grounds at any time.
Diapers may not be changed in the Ladies Locker Room, Powder Room or anywhere
except in designated areas.
Please inquire with Club Management.
Parents must accompany children under the age of 12 at all times.
Under no circumstances will children under age 12 be permitted in the Men’s or
Ladies’ Locker Rooms, between April 1st and October 1st, except to enter the
barber shop.
No minors shall stand or sit at a bar anywhere in the Clubhouse.
Children are never permitted to operate a golf cart, even when a parent is
present.
Under 3 Years Of Age
No child under the age of 3 years is permitted on the Club grounds at any time,
except in the “kiddie pool”, Children’s Locker Room, Terrace Grill and at those
functions designated as “Family” affairs. For the purpose of this rule, a child
will be considered 3 years old if he or she reaches the age of 3 on or prior to
September 1st of the year in question.
Luncheon: On outside Terrace only; 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Children under
3 years of age will be served in the Bar or Dining Room after Labor Day weekend
and ending Memorial Day weekend.
Dinner: All children will be served at Family BBQs or other “Family” designated
functions.
3 To 5 Years Of Age (Inclusive)
Luncheon: 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. On the Terrace for those in bathing attire or
the Dining Room or Bar where proper attire is required.
Dinner: All children will be served on Family BBQs or other “Family” designated
functions.
6 To 11 Years of Age (Inclusive)
Luncheon: 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. On the Terrace for those in bathing attire or
the Dining Room or Bar where proper attire is required.
Dinner: All children will be served on Family BBQs or other “Family” designated
functions.
Pool
Children 6 and over are not permitted on the playground equipment, as
per the manufacturer’s recommendation.
A child must be attended by an adult while in the pool, even if the child can
swim.
Children unable to swim will not be permitted in the pool unless taking swimming
lessons or accompanied by a parent.
Running, jumping, pushing, “horseplay”, ball playing and other such games are
prohibited in the swimming and lounging areas.
All bathers shall dress for the pool in the locker rooms.
Children under age 12 must use the CHILDREN’S LOCKER ROOMS.
Golf
Ages 5 through 20
• All junior golfers are permitted to carry their own golf bag at all times when
they are permitted to play.
• An individual must be 16 years of age in order to operate a golf cart.
• Children under 16 may never operate a golf cart, even when a parent is
present.
• Regular members always have priority on the course and practice areas.
Ages 12 through 15 and approved by the Golf Professional Staff and the Golf
Committee
• All junior golfers must be approved by the Golf Professional Staff before they
may be permitted to play unaccompanied on the golf course.
• May play any time, except for scheduled events and priority tee times.
Under age 12
• Children under the age of 12 are permitted to play golf accompanied by a
parent or adult member after 3:00 P.M. on holes as suggested by the Caddie
Manager and Head Golf Professional but MUST step aside so that other members
will not be disturbed.
• The child must conform to Dress Code. Shirts must be tucked in, no athletic
wear and caps must be worn with the bill forward.
• The child must give way to any regular members waiting to use the facilities.
• The Golf Professional Staff has the authority to request a parent and child to
delay playing or practicing if the areas are crowded.
• The parent is responsible for the actions of his/her child and violations of
the provisions set forth above can result in loss of privileges.
Tennis
Sons and daughters of members younger than age 16 do not have status on
courts on holidays and weekends.
Children 12 and under must be attended by an adult at all times. This rule MUST
AND WILL be enforced by the Tennis Professionals for the safety and comfort of
the membership and children. |
